    (back it up if you want) download the installer temporarily disable your antivirus program open it it wont uninstall minecraft, but it will say "repair" and "uninstall". click "repair" and do "next". then it will check for missing required files and it wont delete anything!!!!

    Make sure java is updated Temporarily disable your antivirus program, download Minecraft once again, then try logging in.
