Lol good example , but thanks for the response

How would it be unsupported if the mod pack Hexxit is able to run and its 1.5.2?

Hello, I am new to the forums so forgive me if i made any errors. So I made a mod pack with the forge-1.5.2-7.8.1.737-installer and I decided I wanted to make a server with it. So I downloaded the correct server files and when I launched the default minecraft server, it works, but when I run forge by double clicking it, this pops up: The Java JAR file “minecraftforge-universal-1.5.2-7.8.1.737.jar” could not be launched. still nothing. I'm basically lost at this point. How do I get my server to work? Information: I have a mac v10.11.5, and the latest java JRE and JDK (1.8.0_91 64bit)
