    OMG it worked i deleted my mods folder and made a new one and it worked.

    i tried on release 1.8-forge1.8-11.14.4.1577 i also tried on 1.8.9-forge1.8.9-11.15.1.1902.-1.8.9 and the full path of i put the folder was This PC-OS(C:)-users-my name-Appdata-Roaming-.minecraft-mods

    I did the the steps to install a minecraft mod with forge correctly. I made a mods folder in the .minecraft folder and put in my mod(pixelmon) and then started up minecraft using the correct version with forge and when i looked at how much mods were installed when I pressed mods in the title screen it only said 3 mods installed which were the core mods like forge. Pixelmon wasn't included. I tried to reinstall everthing and I even downloaded the mod on a different version none of this worked. please help me fix this problem. Thank you.
