    Oh, now i see, i am currently on Minecraft 1.8 and on forge 11.14.4.1577 I dont really know why i am on this version, because i downloaded forge source code a week ago, but thanks for help! I think i will stay on this version and i will make an normal item which spawns the entity instead of am egg.

    I found the class ItemMonsterPlacer, but i wasn't able to find a method named applyEntityIdToItemStack :-/

    Hi Guys, I have a problem on creating an crafting recipe for a spawnegg, thats spawns an entity that i have created myself. The main problem is that I am not able to get an item-stack with this spawnegg. Has someone an idea how to do this?
