Thank you! Removing optifine got me into the server. (I didn't even realize I'd put it in there) ...but trying to open a chest got me this error:
The game crashed whilst unexpected error Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Tag simplefarming:deny_right_click_harvest used before it was bound Exit Code: -1

Edit: Shall I post the debug log again?

Okay, but the debug log still displays the 30th of May as the date and doesn't seem to be showing today's instance.

There are mods in the server mods folder so the intention wasn't to load a modded world into a vanilla server.

debug.log: (client-side I think, as it's the one in the .minecraft folder and not in the server folder)

Sorry, I'm useless at this.

Wow, I am a moron. Thank you! It's not crashing now and I'm able to open up chests. I'll see how I go with my partner joining the server.

Should I rename anything I changed back to the default?

Well things seem to be working fine now. My partner was able to join without any issues and it hasn't crashed as of yet. So hopefully that's a good sign..?

I think I may have renamed it just to 'server' as per someone elses recommendation. (not on this forum) The server seems to be launching. Should I change it back to 'minecraft_server' ?
