I installed forge 1.16.5 -36.1.24 and and attempted to open a single player world to LAN to play with others on my network. The world seems to open to LAN fine, however, when I attempt to connect to the world from a second pc it does not seem to find the world. I then tried to direct connect but to no success, I received a connection timed out error. I then tested opening the world to LAN in vanilla and it worked and I could connect fine from the second pc. next I thought perhaps if I made a server on the host pc and connected to that from all other pc on the LAN it may work, however, once again this did not work. I have checked all firewalls, All pc's are connected to the same router via WIFI. This seems to be a problem with forge as LAN works well with vanilla Minecraft.

Hey!

I'm having the same issue with the same forge version of Minecraft over LAN. Vanilla LAN of the same version works. I, the attempting client, could host a modded LAN of the version, and the usually attempting host was able to join; but they could not see it as an ooen LAN server in their connections. Using my internal IP in a direct connection with the right port still let them connect to the lan server though. The same results couldn't be produced the other way around.

Firewall and network connection settings have been evaluated, we can't figure out what to do
