Hello, I am currently attempting to run a minecraft forge server on my linux computer. I am using Ubuntu MATE. I followed the steps, and the official server launcher unsurprisingly worked normally. I attempted using the forge distribution for 1.12.2, which I found out needs Java 8. I installed Java 8, but it still did not work. I suppose I might have needed to specify Java 8, and I couldn't figure that out, even after searching the web for a few minutes. I tried deleting Java 11 like a fool, and now it's broken. The terminal comes back with "bash: /usr/bin/java: No such file or directory". Do I need to reinstall the latest Java release?
