I have repeatedly attempted to use the Forge installer, but it simply fails. Forge has always been a pain to install, but now it's just plain broken. How do I fix this?

Client> 2013-07-16 15:38:37 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class net.minecraft.client.Minecraft (ats) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is 5ca8f1e6, in patch aa95f186. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file?

Client> 2013-07-16 15:38:37 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The game is going to exit, because this is a critical error, and it is very improbable that the modded game will work, please obtain clean jar files.

Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
