I'm looking for a mod that is similar to WorldGuard, it cant be something like FTBChunks, Minecolonies or a different mod loader such as MohistMC or Magma. I need like actual WorldGuard where I can define a zone using an item or commnads.

I'm aware of how demanding this is but its because its for my modded server, I'm making locations that cannot be mined through but the player can still kill mobs, open doors/press buttons and loot containers.

As an extra cause Im now wondering... can you disable the mini-map and chunk claiming for non-opped players with FTBChunks?

you should be able to set the claimable chunks for default user to 0 but the user will always be able to activate the minimap back if you disable it

It's still in development (for 1.16.5) so there might be some bugs but the author is pretty active and works great for me.

For the settings, go into your world/serverconfig and you can change the settings to set 0 chunks claim

Not long ago, I released my own mod, based on WorldProtector and WorldGuard: YetAnotherWorldProtector. 
It is still in beta, but covers the WorldProtector 1.16.5 features, is server-side only and is available for 1.16.5, 1.18.2 and 1.19.2

Hi, I am having an issue with a 1.16.5 forge server. I added your mod but it says "you dont have permissions to execute this command". There are no config files created on the config of the server, so idk how to change that...
