So in the server menu it shows my server is vanilla even tho it's not, trying to host a modded server. And when trying to connect it gives this error: "unexpected custom data from client" I went through google and forge discord and nothing fixed my issue so decided to post here.

Thanks in advance.

How are you starting the server?

Run.bat with:

java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar forge-1.16.5-36.2.19.jar
PAUSE

I would suspect obfuscate here, but it is not very clear from the log.

Any suggestions what i should do? Everything worked just fine in january when i used to host all kind of mods. Atm hosting non-mod server works fine so it's only modded that doesn't work.

I tested with other mods and every scenario ends up the same. Btw any possibility if you could login to discord? Would be easier to send logs, screenshots etc. Getting so frustrated, been trying to find solution for 8 hours.. zzz.
