im trying to make a forge server but it wont work

so i was trying to make a forge server for me and my friend to play on but when i tried to double click the forge server file it for it to create all the files it just didnt create anything
i have java 8 downloaded and i tried using cmd to start it but all it said was 
A problem occurred running the Server launcher.java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
ive read a bunch of threads but i still cant figure it out could anyone help?

sorry for not using a paste bin i dont know how it works/what it is, does this show anything? this is what happens when i try open it from cmd
