Forge keeps crashing whenever i try to launch it (EXIT CODE: 1)

Hi, 

I'm using forge on a mac. I use forge on 1.12.2 (so i can use decocraft), and recently there has been a problem when I launch forge. It loads halfway, then crashes (error code 1). It is saying something is wrong with runtime config, but I can't find any tutorials for mac, and where I can have the java executable run to. Anyone know how to fix this?
