So I have downloaded the latest verison of forge and for some reason I keep getting this error message when I press play on the launcher.

Have you installed the correct version? Have you used the installer?

 

Try the recommended and the latest version!

Try to reinstall Forge by deleting the Profile and the ...\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2-Forge9.10. Then start the Installer again!

You musn't delete the META-INF folder!

Don't use 789. USE LATEST.
