My game is crashing

When launching 1.12.2 of forge it go though it's normal loading, but then when it gets to lava_flow it fails and says 

The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: net.minecraft.client.renderer.StitcherException: Unable to fit: minecraft:blocks/lava_flow - size: 32x32 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack? Exit Code: -1

which lava_flow should be a normal block so there should be no problem while the resolution of the version is 1980 x 1080 right? 

So why is it not working and who do I fix it.
