I am currently creating a mod that allows upgrading weapons. And I want to add a visual effect to the weapon. The better the weapon, the better is lighting. Example how I want the weapon to look like:

What can I use to make such visual effect on the weapon?

minecraft version: 1.16.5

    Please just give me a direction. Like you need to rewrite *** Or please take a look on ***.java. As far as I know it can't be done by textures. Almost all animation that I found are done by animeted textures.
