Hello. I got a problem with the new Forge installer. When i open it instead of the actual installer it opens a bunch of files. And when i open it with Java it opens a black box for about half a second and then closes. Can someone please help me? Thanks. Also  sorry if this is in a wrong post. I could not fine the right one.

Hello asger999,

It sounds like your file may be corrupted, I would recommend re-downloading and trying again with the new file.

If you have 7-Zip, WinRar, etc. installed, that is whats causing it to just show files. Running a fresh download with java should work.

Good Luck!  :D

P.S. You may want to try Support & Bug Reports if you have any more problems.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
