HyagoSanter Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hi. I wanted to know if you have any new method for me to have a configuration file for my mod. Because the new version (1.6.2) the old method no longer exists. Tnks. Quote
f1rSt1k25 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Create new file. public static Configuration config; public static void init(File configFile) { config = new Configuration(configFile); try { config.load(); //code } catch (Exception e) { FMLLog.log(Level.SEVERE, e, modid + " has had a problem loading its configuration"); } finally { config.save(); } } In FMLPreInitializationEvent: ConfigHandler.init(event.getSuggestedConfigurationFile()); Quote
HyagoSanter Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 But the "Configuration" gives error, and has no way to import. Quote
Mazetar Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 manually import it, by finding the Configuration class (CTRL+SHIFT+T helps!) and copy it's package name. Then write import package.Line.Here.Configuration; along with the other import statements. Quote If you guys dont get it.. then well ya.. try harder...
