How to Migrate Models

I found a mod, but because its version can't be installed in the 1.12.2 minecraft version because ths mod is very old is work in minecraft 1.6.X, so I want to ask if custom npc's mod can put mob models of other mods into it?

The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

Currently supported versions are 1.19.2 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS).
