Posted January 31, 20232 yr I'm making a modpack and it has OptiFine, which causes incredible visual problems. https://imgur.com/a/KopcpEs I will also add a list of all mod shttps://paste.ee/p/IOknx Edited January 31, 20232 yr by hereticon_
January 31, 20232 yr If any mods you have change world rendering in some way, don't use Optifine (or if you play around with the settings enough you might find a fix if you are that desperate to use Optifine). Optifine uses it's own code and modifies a lot of rendering functions that break a lot of other mods (or breaks a lot if other mods break it). I've heard Rubidium is a good alternative. I'm not good at modding, but at least I can read a crash report (well enough). That's something, right?
February 1, 20232 yr there is a simple answer to your optifine problem: do not use optifine. trust me on this, because it is highly unlikely your computer is older than mine. i need performance mods more than you do. rubidium plus canary. remove optifine, put those two and you're good. for a good measure, add a few minor performance mods too, clumps and maybe something that culls leaves (depending on the way you play).
