Issues installing Forge 1.19.2

Hello, I'm having issues installing forge version 1.19.2. Whenever I run the installer, a command prompt-esque window shows up for a split second and instantly goes away. There are no logs generated in the "Downloads" folder (where the installer is located) and nothing shows up in Event Viewer. Windows Defender firewall shouldn't be blocking it because its configured to notify me whenever it blocks something. Additionally, my java is properly installed and doesn't appear to have an extension disassociation problem, I verified I have the correct jar file and obtained it from the official forge website.

(sorry if this is posted improperly, I made an account just so I could get help on this problem and am unfamiliar with how forums work as a whole)

Can you try running the jar from command prompt?

Out of curiosity, how did running it though command prompt work and running it normally didn't?
