I can't enter my minecraft modded aternos server due to an "internal exception" error

Hi, I've just created a new server in aternos with the "better minecraft" modpack and when I try to join it it sends me an error messages that says:
Connection Lost
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: readerIndex(12) + length(1) exceeds WriterIndex(12): PooledUnsafeDirectByteBuf(ridx: 12, widx: 12, cap 12/13)
I can play the game without a problem in singleplayer and the server seems to work correctly on aternos so, What can I do to solve the error?

Can you send the full crash log?

Also, it's worth noting that Aternos isn't know for flexibility so a solution might not be applicable with Aternos.

I'm not good at modding, but at least I can read a crash report (well enough). That's something, right?
