Unable to install forge

I have been getting this error every time I try to install forge: "unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

I have the latest java 17 version, yet this has still been happening.

I think you're using a java version too late. Try using java 8 and see how that works.

Tried it and still does the same thing. The funny thing is if I went to add a new installation in Minecraft launcher, it shows up, but not the icon. Also when I try to play on that installation it says "unexpected error" or "game crashed"

In order to root out one of the more common issues, we'll need to see your hosts file. Here's the steps to getting this file.

1) Press the Win + R key on your keyboard.

2) Paste the following into the prompt that opens: 'notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts' (/etc/hosts on Unix systems)

3) Use Ctrl+A to select everything in the file, then Ctrl+C into the textbox to post to this thread.

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
