When starting forge with Optifine (And various other mods, but I singled out optifine as the culprit) my Minecraft would crash. I just removed all mods and then put in them until I found which one crashed it. It was optifine. I tried it one more time just to make sure it was random, I ended up actually getting it to launch... kind of. When minecraft was brought up, I would have this strange visual glitch that is Very annoying. Im not sure if this is fixable (other than not using optifine, which is possible because of my RTX graphics card, but I still use it for its visual changes, and use with texture packs.) I will try using another optifine version, since these are experimental versions, but I thought it would be smart to report this here. A list of mods will be provided in a screenshot, as well as the actual bug occurring.

lose optifine.

i used optifine to improve fps on my radeon 4200 but you're not in the same boat as me.

the era of optifine has passed. it is the era of sodium (rubidium in case of forge users) and lithium (i think the forge port is called canary, there might be more than one) and it's a good time. we can get decent performance upgrade without optifine annoying users and infuriating modders.

well I had originally wanted to use bobby mod, which is only available on Forge, so I had to switch, and Sodium doesnt work for Forge obviously.
