Minecraft is "Not Responding" when I exit my world with Dynamic Surroundings installed

Hi, I'm am encountering a issue in my world when I have the dynamic surroundings mod installed that is causing my game to stop responding as soon as I click on Save and Exit to Title Screen the game is "Not Responding", but if I remove the dynamic surroundings mod, the issues go away. Previously, when I played with this mod, I never had any issues with the mod before, is the latest version of the dynamic surroundings mod bugged in 1.12.2?
