Posted October 29, 201312 yr Hi, So I'm the latest version of Forge for 1.6.4 and everything works, but I'm getting tons of console spam. By tons, I mean, one line per tick any time I'm in the menu, or in the inventory screen, a crafting screen, and probably others. Here's a sample: [22:42:18 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:18 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:19 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:19 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:20 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:20 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e [22:42:20 INFO]: Client> 2013-10-28 22:42:20 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] guiScreen:net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiIngameMenu@27164f3e It's not breaking anything, but if I press escape to pause the game and forget to come back for a while, it'll fill the disk, for one thing. Also it's a little annoying. Can I turn it off? Is there a config option? Hope I'm posting in the right place and not breaking any taboos, but I did read the EAQ/rules/did a search, etc, and... here we are anyway.
October 29, 201312 yr Most likely a mod problem. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
October 29, 201312 yr Author Thanks, armed with that suggestion, I decided to go from a clean slate and load one mod at time until I found the culprit. It's Zyin's HUD. Of course, since the name starts with a "Z" and I was going through the list alphabetically, I got all the way to the end before I found it... started and stopped minecraft a zillion times now... I'm exhausted, need to go lie down.
