Posted October 29, 201312 yr When I try to download any version of the Minecraft forge installer I repeatedly get this message. “minecraftforge-installer-1.6.4-9.11.0.883.jar” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." Is anyone else having this problem? Are there any ways to fix it?
October 30, 201311 yr If there's a "Open anyway" button, use that. If not tell your anti virus/OS not to be so trigger happy. If it still doesn't work then we need to know what OS you're using. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
October 30, 201311 yr Author No, there is no open anyway button. From what I can tell, it is not my antiviral software, I am on the newest mac OS available. On the older OS I was able to use the forge easily.
October 31, 201311 yr I'm not a mac user, but try going into security settings or something and setting the installer jar as trusted or something? Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!
