Posted November 3, 20231 yr Hey yall, so uh this has started happening recently for some reason... I was using forge 1.20 previously for a while and when i updated to 1.20.1, it kept crashing all the time no matter what I removed all the mods, reinstalled forge, reinstalled minecraft/forge and then reinstalled java but nothing seemed to work I also updated my graphics driver to the latest (Nvidia) To top it off all versions of 1.20 and 1.20.2 work just fine, the earliest version of 1.20.1 works aswell but not many mods support that Im using 1.20.1 in particular because im hosting a server on that version with my friends and the majority of the mods only go up to that version Heres the crash log https://pastebin.com/WspmJRmz Edited November 3, 20231 yr by ZXEZX
November 3, 20231 yr Does it work just with forge - without any mods? Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
November 3, 20231 yr Author Does not work whatsoever even without mods This was all tested on the minecraft launcher so i tried a different launcher and got the same error, but this time with a bit more explanation its something to do with slf4j (i wrote this manually) SLF4J: No SLF4J providers were found. SLF4J: Defaulting to no-operation (NOP) logger implementation SLF4J: See https://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#noProviders for further details. SLF4J: Class path contains SLF4J bindings targeting slf4j-api versions 1.7.x or earlier. SLF4J: Ignoring binding found at [gamefilepath/datastore/libraries/org/apache/logging/log4j/log4j-slf4j2-impl/2.15.0/log4j-slf4j2-impl-2.15.0.jar%23139!/org/slf4j/impl/StaticLoggerBinder.class] SLF4J: See https://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#ignoredBindings for an explanation.
November 3, 20231 yr Maybe try another Launcher like MultiMC, AT Launcher or Technic Launcher Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
November 3, 20231 yr Author Thanks! MultiMC launches forge 1.20.1 just fine even with mods! Not sure what the bug was even to begin with but everythings good now Thanks again
