Rendering the world with camera?

Hey! I was just wondering if any of you guys knew what would be the best method for making a block that works like a camare. I know allot about modding and coding in general, but I cant for the love of my life figure out a way to do this. F.eks. when you open the interface of a block it would render what it would "see" in front of it as if the player stood there. If anyone know how this is done I would love any replay. Thanks for reading ;)
