i want to install forge for MC 1.6.4 but i cant figure out how to do it properly. Ive done a bit of searching on the forums and some quick google searches but i haven't found anything pertaining to how to properly install forge for versions other than the current game version of Minecraft.

    Run vanilla 1.6.4 once

    Download forge installer

    Run forge installer

    Select "install client"

    Open launcher

    Select profile name "Forge"

    Profit
