Recommended Way for Mods to Create Config Screens Using Forge 48.1 or Newer for Minecraft 1.20.x

What is the recommended way for mods to create config screens using Forge 48.1 or newer for Minecraft 1.20.x?  I'd like for my mod to enable the Config button on the Forge Mod Screen.

The previously recommended way to accomplish this no longer works in the latest versons of Forge because ExtensionPoint.CONFIGGUIFACTORY and related code seems to have been removed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Make your config screen

public class MyConfigScreen extends Screen {
//...
}

Then in your Client event subscriber

@SubscribeEvent
public static void onFMLClientSetupEvent(FMLClientSetupEvent event) {
  ModLoadingContext.get().registerExtensionPoint(
    ConfigScreenHandler.ConfigScreenFactory.class,
    () -> new ConfigScreenHandler.ConfigScreenFactory((mc, prevScreen) -> new MyConfigScreen(){})
  );
}
