Server Render Image?

I need to modify my server to produce image renders from the viewpoint of an entity. Is there any HeadlessRendering code available that works on the server, or do I manually have to implement rendering logic from scratch? Unfortunately the mod I am working on requires the rendering to be done server side... Essentially the mod I am working on won't require a client to be connected to the server, but requires the server to run multiple rendering streams at 640x400.
 

Any tips or information that might help me out? I would prefer not to have to reimplement a rendering engine.
