Posted January 11, 20241 yr Recently, every time I try to launch Minecraft using 1.20.1 Forge (even without mods) the game crashes. I even tried downloading a different version of Forge 1.20.1 and that didn't work either. I tried updating my drivers but they were all up to date. I restarted my computer and even uninstalled and reinstalled both Minecraft and Forge, neither of which worked. Here is a link to the log: https://pastebin.com/ViXCATLy
January 12, 20241 yr Author @TileEntity I've repeatedly checked for PC updates and Driver updates, I've even reset my drivers numerous times, they're all up to date, and the game still won't open. I've gone through every step on the FAQ, none of it worked, everything is up to date. EDIT: Nevermind, I managed to fix it. The problem was either that I was using Java 8 or that I had NordVPN on. Because after I turned off all the NordVPN security, and deleted Java 8 and downloaded Java 17, it started working again. Edited January 12, 20241 yr by Withie
