Hello everyone,

 

I've recently decided to take up modding, and thought the best way would be to use the tutorials that those in this community have set up (which I have been especially grateful for, so far). However, when following the instructions to setup a new development environment (http://www.minecraftforge.net/wiki/Installation/Source) I noticed that the latest recommended build is missing the 'src' folder shown in the picture, and it would be helpful to me in order to understand the way the game functions.

 

So my question, is the page I linked to outdated and the 'src' folder has been moved elsewhere or is there an additional step that needs to be taken in order to access that folder?

Pahimar hasn't covered the new gradle build format yet, which all the new versions use. Check out the ForgeGradle subforum.

 

 

Are there any videos of setting u gradle, and btw What is gradle and how is it better or worse then current eclipse setup.
