I want to know how to make a mod that gets a list of players by the Client Side [1.8.9]

I tried to get the player list, but in game servers like Hypixel, it is unrealistic to get the players of the entire server, so I want to make a module to get the player list in the Tab (players in a lobby)

Is this possible? Thanks.
