i was wondering i somone knew a good tutorial to make ur farnace or machine work on like a lava or ic2 power?

If you mean lava as in lava buckets than vanilla furnaces do that, but if you mean like geo-thermal generators out of IC2 then you are going to have to figure it out yourself or find a open source mod that you can learn from, Also there are not many tutorials on coding with IC2 as its a closed mod, try searching their forums.

Or you can decompile IC2 using Bearded Octo Nemesis and view the source code with JD-Gui

For EU, believe me I've tried. Open source mods which do this I know of are Immibis' Advanced Machines. I couldn't figure out how to do it yet.
