I am very new to modding. So i barely know anything. All i want to do is have a version of Better Combat, but with my animations. I went through their Github and downloaded every one of the animation .blend files, and redid the animations. So whatever they had implemented into their animations is still there and I do not think I have to go back and add code or whatever, they're all even named the same. I just want to find a way to put my animations into the mod. Any help?

I created the animations by downloading the existing ones from the Github, and redoing them. I only ever saved the animations, and didnt export because it doesnt know what directory. I'm thinkin i just need a directory and I'd have been done with this, but im not sure.  noticed in blender there was a script thingy on the side, too.

so im basically just askin, since i just redid the animations, would I just have to set a directory to the better combat mod somehow?

can someone help???

Most likely you would have to do it through resource packs. Fortunately these usually aren't tricky. There are plenty of tutorials out there but essentially you just replicate the file structure of the asset your trying to replace and include a pack.mcmeta file.

Example being for if you were going to replace a texture for a mob it'd be something along the lines of minecraft/zombie/assets/texture/(texture replacement)
