Minecraft starts and runs fine but randomly crashes after a while

My minecraft (1.12.2) starts and runs fine at first but will randomly crash at random times or when doing something, like once i opened a chest and it crashed and once i was just going through a desert and it crashed. I am not sure but i tried to make sense out of the crash reports and latest logs and maybe its because minecraft is trying to load something that it cant find the resources for? but i cant find what. Any help appreciated!

The launcher says: The game crashed whilst exception ticking world Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/world/World$2

Thanks, it seems to work, so far after play for 2 hours i didnt have any more crashes with this reason.

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
