Missing block texture when placed in world but not when in player's hand

As the title says. The block I've made shows it's intended texture in my player's hand but not when it's placed in the world. Then it's a missing texture.

 

I've explored the existing answers on these forums for hours and couldn't find the answer. I've double checked my jsons and spelling at least a dozen times. I really don't know what's up. Help would be appreciated.
