Hi there,

today I tried to use the MagicLauncher to use mods such as Optifine and Rei's Minimap without needing to do too much digging into folders. I used the Windows Forge Installer, it worked just fine. I selected as Environment the '1.7.2-Forge10.12.0.998', and the mods' status is OK. But when I start minecraft, I get this error log:

java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/libraries/net/minecraft/launchwrapper/1.9/launchwrapper-1.9.jar

    sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source)

    sun.net.www.protocol.https.HttpsURLConnectionImpl.getInputStream(Unknown Source)

    magic.launcher.i.run(SourceFile:56)

    java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Could anyone help me fix this problem? I deleted everything in my .minecraft folder too, maybe tat is causing the problem?

Libraries not found:

libraries/net/minecraft/launchwrapper/1.9/launchwrapper-1.9.jar

libraries/org/ow2/asm/asm-all/4.1/asm-all-4.1.jar

libraries/lzma/lzma/0.0.1/lzma-0.0.1.jar

Thank you in advance.

I updated the MagicLauncher before attempting to use the mods, so that can't be the problem.

Then use the official launcher.

I had the same problem and stuff, and i know how to fix it! When u go into Magic launcher, I will do it like this

Magiclauncher/Setup/ at enviroment, go to your version that works, press that so u use it. Under there it says minecraft.jar: (Your version used) At the side of there it should say Select, do select, go into .minecraft (You will probably come there at first) Then Find the version that dosent work, and ok, and ok again then play, THATS how i fixed it! :D

Hope it works[s[/s] :D;)
