March 3Mar 3 Download Optifine and run the jar file by clicking on it: https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.20.1_HD_U_I6.jar Start Minecraft and make sure you are using the Optifine profile (Minecraft already contains Java 17) Start this profile once and close the game in main menu Download some shaders: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/search?page=1&pageSize=20&sortBy=relevancy&class=shaders&version=1.20.1 and put these into the shaderpacks folder in your .minecraft directory Start the game with the Optifine profile - you can enable shaders in the settings then Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
March 3Mar 3 You may need it to run the optifine installer/forge installer https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/jdk17-archive-downloads.html Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
March 3Mar 3 Author it worked thank you! do you know how i could add the shaders to a curseforge modpack?
March 3Mar 3 After installing a curseforge modpack, click on the 3 dots - Profile Options - and checkmark "Allow content management for this profile" Then go to Content and click on the Shaders tab - add some shaderpacks there To load shaders, make sure the modpack is using Embeddium and Oculus (alternative for Optifine) A NeoForge or Fabric modpack is using Sodium and Iris With adding Embeddium, the mod Rubidium is automatically added as dependency - this causes a duplicate mod error So after adding Embeddium, make sure you remove Rubidium from the modlist Try my Modpack >>Link to Curseforge<<
