squarepie Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 This is my first attempt at trying to create a mod. I've made a very simple mod that adds one block. Eclipse showed no errors so I tried to run it. It loaded until the 'mojang screen' and then crashes with the following error: 6:52:00] [main/INFO]: Loading tweak class name cpw.mods.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [16:52:00] [main/INFO]: Using primary tweak class name cpw.mods.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [16:52:00] [main/INFO]: Calling tweak class cpw.mods.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [16:52:00] [main/INFO]: Forge Mod Loader version 7.2.116.1024 for Minecraft 1.7.2 loading [16:52:00] [main/INFO]: Java is Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.7.0_25, running on Windows 7:amd64:6.1, installed at C:\Program Files\Java\jre7 [16:52:00] [main/INFO]: Managed to load a deobfuscated Minecraft name- we are in a deobfuscated environment. What should I do? Quote
MatthewGB Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 First of all, "AL lib: (EE) alc_cleanup: 1 device not" happens every time you close minecraft. The only seemingly possible reason for that error is because you're done something to the main classes. If you haven't started modding that JAR you should renew it. Make sure you're using the right forge for 1.7. You also seem quite new to modding. If you're using forge you should (almost) never edit main classes. Always use the API that forge gives you and make new classes. Google some tutorials on how to do stuff. Quote
MatthewGB Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 FML even told you what to do in the error! squarepie Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 I haven't edited any main classes, I created my own! Quote
GotoLink Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The mod FMLMod:PiffM{1.0} is attempting to register a block whilst it it being constructed. com/ibm/icu/text/ArabicShapingException That is an interesting Exception. Do you use arabic text ? Quote
squarepie Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 No I don't use arabic text. I've managed to solve my problems though, my development environment was setup correctly by forge. I just reinstalled it and now it works. Quote
