There should be a mod manager in the main menu so I don't have to move folders around. It should also allow me to turn off mods whenever I want to. It should be the like the nexus mod manager because it is super convenient.

Work is already being done for this.

There's proof for it in an FMLModDisabledEvent class where the FMLInitializationEvent is, and as a value used by the @Mod annotation.
