[1.7.2] Getting Recipe Ingredients

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to figure out a way to obtain the Object array that stores the items in a recipe for days now. I really just need some help figuring out how to access the arrays. I've attempted to see how NEI gets the ingredients but it seems to be beyond my understanding. I understand how to get the recipe list and all that just not how to get the object arrays that describe what the recipe actually is. There's a method that gives the output of a recipe but not the input. How would I get the input?

Thank you for the quick response. But I still don't understand how figuring out what type the recipe is will allow me to access the object[] that holds the ingredients. Could you please elaborate.

    		if(recIterator.next() instanceof ShapedRecipes){

I pasted my simple code to find out what type it is but I don't know how to proceed further and get the array.

public void removeRecipe()
Iterator iterator = FurnaceRecipes.smelting().getSmeltingList().entrySet().iterator();
Entry entry;
entry = (Entry)iterator.next();
	System.out.println(((ItemStack)entry.getKey()).getUnlocalizedName()+ " Removed!");

^ look at this, took it out from my mod. i use it to remove recipes.
