When I go to install Forge environment to start modding with, it downloads most all of the files, then it will get to the server portion, and will say failed hash check, spit out a bunch of alpha-numeric code for a hash, and continue on saying deleting another bunch of alpha numeric code, then the next line after that spits out something went wrong verifying minecraft files, see log for more details, no log of course, then will finish up with Decompile exception:1 pres any key to continue.

I've tried re-downloading the fore src files, MCP, everything individually, and always circle back to that, so I figured it was time  to ask for help. The version I'm using is forge 965, for MC 1.6.4

You should probably use version .964, as that is for minecraft 1.6.4 and uses ForgeGradle as that's the way to go in the future.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

Will a mod I design in 964 work in 965 releases? I thought there was always some kind of back port conflict between them all ? I'm fairly new to the scene and I just want to get all my info correct before I get too deep
