that getting mod a to depend on mod b is called Multi Project Gradle Configurations. He also said this would be coming in a later video but I haven't seen anything and it's a amount of time since that video and I haven't seen anything. Could anybody point me in the right direction of how to do this.

    I found this but don't know to get this to work with the layout Lex Manos showed in his video and I don't actually know if that's what I want
