Posted July 9, 201411 yr So I am making a block for my mod which is in 1.7.2. This block is nothing special and it doesn't need a class of it own. In 1.6.4 modding you could just say something like "randomblock= new Block(Material.ground).setBlockName("randomblock)..." Can you not do this in 1.7 modding? I'm back from being gone for... I think its been about a year. I'm pretty sure nobody remembers me, but hello anybody who does!
July 9, 201411 yr You have to make a custom class what extends Block in order to make a new block. Example: myBlock = new MyBlock(Material.whatever).ect;
