Help installing an API in 1.7.10

Can anyone either tell me how or direct me to a tutorial on how to install API's (I mean the api jar and the dev jar) in forge 1.7.10? I cannot seem to find an updated tutorial for 1.7, and I would greatly appreciate any and all help.

    Create a /jars/ folder in your forge folder and put them there then link them as librarys in your IDE. You might want to put them in /eclipse/mods as well but normally they should be added automatically. Dont forget to insert the mods into the /mods folder as well.
