Minecraft Is Not Starting

I keep getting an error when i try to run my minecraft in eclipse.  It is not working at all.  I re-installed eclipse and re-installed the workspace but nothing is working.  Can someone help me?  I have tried to do gradlew setupDecompWorkspace again but it is not working either.

Don't use Java 8.

 

I am a total noobscrub at this.  Can you link me a tutorial.  I have no clue what people mean when they say "Use Java 7" Does that mean that i change my variable so it goes to the java 7 folder or does it mean i install Java 7 or java JDK 7?

Install JRE 7 and JDK 7, then uninstall JRE/JDK 8.

The JDK comes with the JRE. No need to install it separately.

What version of eclipse are you using? Eclipse should not require Java 8...

Eclipse Standard 4.4 64 Bit for windows

Could i possibly need to set java 7 as default?

I am in my java folder and just realized that there is no java jre for 7.  There is one for 8.  But not for 7, there is only a jdk.  How do i fix that?

Install the JRE then. You probably unticked the checkbox when installing the Java 7 JDK, as it normally installs the JRE as well.

The JRE is not installing.  I have tried it multiple times.  There are no checkboxes.  I was wondering if you could send me to a link for the jre

Nevermind I found it.  You do have to install it seperately

Use the GradleStart class as your main class. If you are using the most recent version this should be done automatically?!?
