Duplicating modid and name in mcmod.info

So I built my first plugin, pretty cool, thanks for all the help so far.

 

However I was wondering what's the purpose of duplicating "modid" and "name" in mcmod.info and @Mod ? How can I specify it at one place, and use it in the other ?
