Hello,

I'm trying to setup a server with some mods on it. Before installing mods I wanted to run server+Forge only. I have downloaded the newest server jar from MC page (1.3.2) and minecraftforge-universal-4.1.1.251. I've put forge to the .jar file and DIDN'T delete META. I tried to run the server with command java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar but I'm getting an error as below:

Any idea what can it be? Server runs well without forge.

Thanks for help!

BTW: creator of MC is Markus Persson not Notch :P

EDIT: I'm using Java 7 update 7

Download these files and put them into your libs folder located in your .minecraft directory:

http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/argo-2.25.jar

http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/guava-12.0.1.jar

http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/asm-all-4.0.jar

BTW: Markus' nickname is Notch, so Notch is the creator of Minecraft :P

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

Yup, that worked except that I've put it into /serve/lib. Should I put it into client as well?

Any explanation of this error for future references?

Thanks!

If the client works with forge, then you don't need it.

The error claims that it can't find a class:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/common/io/LineProcessor

It's a part of one of these libraries, so one of them must be somehow corrupted during the download. The problem has been solved by redownloading the libraries, so FML can find the class now.

    • Ive tried to disable all the mods and repair the installation in curseforge but that didnt change anything sadly.
    • Ive been trying to run some datapacks from vanilla tweaks like multiplayer sleep and Anti Creeper grief, but i cant seem to get them working on CurseForge while they work completely fine in Vanilla on the same version. They are loaded according to the game but they don´t work at all, ive tried using openloader but that doesnt change anything either.   Any ideas on what could be causing this?    Thank you in advance, Nap
    • I am having the same issue when I try to launch the modpack from the launcher. I am on Windows, running 32gb RAM, I have plenty of RAM dedicated to the modpack, but every time I try to launch the game, I get a message saying "Game Crashed - Exit Code: 1" For reference, I have 18.5k MB dedicated to running the game, and it still crashes. I am not sure what the issue is. Any help is appreciated!
